Recycle your old Sneakers!

The SYF, High School members decided to collect OLD SNEAKERS (no metal parts, and no WET sneakers please) and donate them to a place that will recycle them into PLAYGROUND surfaces.  

The SYF Members asked for help from the Church School students...
So... begining Sun May 4th (Confirmation Sunday) to June 8th (Church School Service and Church Picnic Sunday) BRING IN YOUR OLD SNEAKERS!!!  There will be a bin in the Vestibule, and one on the Front Porch of the Parish House.  

Here is a schedule of days and classes to help with the collection and organization of the sneakers. Volunteer ahead of time by contacting Pete Traynor via phone or the email...

May 4 = 6th + 7th

May 11 = 4th + 5th

May 18 = = 6th + 7th

May 25 = SYF only

June 1 = 4th + 5th

June 8 = Anyone

On June 8th Pete will seek a volunteer(s) to help get the old sneakers to the recycling center, near Watertown, CT.
