| Michael Moran was called to
be our Senior Pastor in 1990. At the time he was serving as Director of Development and
Alumni Relations for New Brunswick Seminary at Rutgers University in New Jersey. He had
previously served churches in Proctor, Vermont, Buskhill, Pennsylvania, and Staten Island,
New York. |
For many years, Wendy Hammond wrote plays and screenplays and taught writing in universities. Then in 2001, God called her to be a pastor. She went back to school and studied at Hartford Seminary and then completed her M.Div. at Yale Divinity School. She did her clinical field work as a chaplain at Hartford Hospital, and served the First Church, East Haddam as an intern minister. She loves belting out hymns, telling stories, going on mission trips, playing with kids of all ages, talking about God, and serving a Christian community. She lives in Deep River, CT with her beloved husband, Paul, and their amazing son, Will. |
